Is there a non-return valve that can be installed in the sewer system at the outlet of the building in order to prevent flooding of the basement in case of blockage of the main sewer outside the building?

Experts can tell you this. Try calling Pom Waterproofing www.pomwaterproofing.ca/back-water-valve-installation/. They all know about check valves. I contacted them recently, because I have an office on the first floor and if there is any problem with the sewerage, it immediately pulls me to my office. They came to reinstall the shut-off valve - everything is fast, clean, wonderful. And the prices are good, do not fight.
